Policies & Procedures

KINDERBALLET ‘MUMMY/DADDY & ME’ 2- 3.5 YEAR OLDS:

During ‘Mummy/Daddy and Me’ classes, 1 parent/carer is fully responsible for assisting child during the entirety of each lesson. No extra people in the class during the term please (aside from siblings/babies or a special request, organised with the teacher prior.)

 

On the final day of Term 1, 2 & 3 we hold a ‘Watching Day.’ This is a special occasion where you may invite friends & family to sit in and view the class.

 

The final day of Term 4 is ‘Presentation Day’.  You will be charged an extra fee to attend the ‘Presentation Day’ which includes a costume for the student and admission for 4 guests. ‘Presentation Day’ is optional, so if you prefer, you can select to skip the additional fee and simply pay for Term 4 minus this final ‘Presentation Day.’

The parent/carer is required to participate with child during ‘Watching Day’ & ‘Presentation Day’, as per normal.

 

Photo/Video taking is reserved for ‘Watching Day’ & ‘Presentation Day’ only. We ask that no photos/videos with other children in them be posted to Social Media to protect the other children's privacy.

KINDERBALLET ‘TOTS' 3.5 - 5 YEARS, 'TWINKLE TOTS’ 4 – 5 YEARS, 'JAZZ MAGIC' 3.5 - 5 YEARS 

‘KIDDIES’ 4 – 5 YEARS, ‘DAYTIME DANCE’ 5 & OVER, ‘DANCE EXPRESSIONS’ 5 & OVER:

During the term, it is required that parents wait in the nearby waiting area outside the activity room, for the duration of the class. Parents are not permitted to wait inside the classroom during the term (aside from First Trial Class, ‘Watching Day’, ‘Presentation Day’, or a special request, organised with the teacher prior).

Should your child need to go to the toilet during the lesson, if you are uncomfortable with another parent taking them, please do not leave the venue. If you are not there, the teacher has no choice but to ask the parent of another student to accompany your child to the toilet.

‘PRE BALLET’ & KINDERBALLET ‘ASPIRATIONS’ 8 – 13 YEARS:

Our ‘Aspirations’ dancers work towards an Assessment at the end of the year where they perform their class work & dances to an examiner. They also do a ‘Mock Exam’ for family & friends prior to their Assessment.

There is a ‘Watching Day’ for ‘Aspirations’ ballet students at the end of Term 2 & Term 4. This is a special occasion where you may invite friends & family to sit in and view the class. The final day of Term 4 is ‘Presentation Day.’ You will be charged an extra fee to attend the ‘Presentation Day’ which includes a costume for the student and admission for 4 guests.

‘Presentation Day’ is compulsory for Aspirations Students.

Payment and Tuition Information

Term fees are due by the date indicated on your invoice, which is usually two weeks prior to the Term commencing.

 

If a student is undertaking their 1st FREE TRIAL your fees must be settled on the date stated on your invoice, after your Child’s Free Trial.

 

Enrolment in a class is not guaranteed until fees have been received.  Fees must be settled directly with Tiny Twinkle Toes Ballet (Ms Anna). Please note that classes are a termly commitment and no refunds are given for missed classes. If a student misses a class, they are welcome to do a replacement make-up class at another venue at any point during the same term (numbers permitting), aside from ‘Watching Class’ or ‘Presentation Class’. Credit from a missed class cannot be transferred over to the next term. Please be advised, if your child misses a class, it is the parent/carer’s responsibility to organise a replacement make-up class with Tiny Twinkle Toes Ballet via phone or email, prior to the class.

​

Payments may be made via direct bank deposit into the account stated on your invoice. Payment instructions are included in your invoice, sent via email. For new ‘Tots,’ ‘Twinkle Tots,’ ‘Kiddies’ ‘Dance Expressions’ & ‘Daytime Dance’,  ‘Next Steps’ & ‘Aspirations’ students who wish to enrol after the 1st Trial Class, the parent/carer will receive an invoice from Tiny Twinkle Toes Ballet after this class, via email. For new ‘Mummy & Me’ students who are signing up to a 3 Class Trial package, fees are due before your 1st trial class and an invoice will be sent via email before commencement.

​

A $10 Accident & Insurance fee is added to all invoices at the start of each term.

​

A $40 Administration Fee is added to all invoices yearly.

​

Sibling Discount:

*10% Sibling Discount available per student once both students have completed all trials and enrolled for the remainder of the term. Your discount adjustment will be applied on the final invoice of the term.

​

Multiple Class Discount of 10% is applied when a student is enrolled in more than one class.

 

Once enrolled, classes will roll over to the next term on an ongoing basis.

 

If you would like to discontinue classes, please send us an email to let us know.

 

Medical:

If your child is unwell with a contagious illness, please do not bring them to class, even if you are uncertain about whether it is contagious or not.

​

It is the parent/carer’s responsibility to tell the teacher if they know (or suspect) that their child has a contagious illness. It is essential that parents clearly communicate with our teachers so that we can ensure the wellbeing of all students.

​

Open wounds must be covered with a bandage or patch at all times.

 

 

 Keeping you healthy and safe:

 

KEY POINTS PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:

  • Students are NOT to attend class is they are feeling unwell – fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough etc.

 

  • Students should come to class dressed and ready to dance.

 

  • Wait for the previous class to leave the building before entering – we kindly ask that you enter our studio via the front doors & collect your dancer after their class from the outside waiting area near the Local Infusion Coffee Shop thank you.

 

  • Do not enter the studio more than 5 minutes before your class starts.

 

  • Sanitise hands when entering and leaving the building or wash/dry them in the bathroom.

 

  • Please wait outside or in your car if practical.

 

If your child needs to go to the toilet and you are not in the waiting room, one of our female staff may take them or a female parent if available. If you do not wish for this, please let us know and ideally wait in our outside waiting area.

​

Parent /Carer Responsibility:

During the term, it is required that parents wait in the nearby waiting area outside the activity room, for the duration of the class. For this reason, the parent/carer must remain available for the duration of the class in the event of an incident with their child.

​

ENROLMENT AGREEMENT:

 

By participating in any paid or trial classes offered by Tiny Twinkle Toes Ballet:

​

You agree to be bound by, and to comply with, its terms.

​

You agree to pay the appropriate fees on time.

​

You agree to notify Tiny Twinkle Toes Ballet of any existing medical conditions or behavioural concerns your child may have.

 

You have read and agree to all of the above information.

​

Please ensure you have read the above and signed your confirmation on your Enrolment Form.
